Active Arts - Performing and Visual Arts for Adults with Learning Disabilities

Active Arts provides professional performing and visual arts courses for adults with learning disabilities.

Students are encouraged to produce work in performing arts such as musical theatre, comedy & drama and dance, or engage in visual arts, including our Making for the Stage class or Art and Design classes.


You will be taught by skilled professional artists and performers who will support you to develop your skills.

Hello Dolly End of Year Show

Annual Showcase

Each year, we host a vibrant and inclusive end-of-year performance at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, open to the public and celebrating the creativity of our participants. The show is the culmination of a years work for our students.

The event features performances in musical theatre, comedy, dram and dance, while our visual artists contribute by designing and creating the sets, backdrops, and props.

This inspiring showcase offers every participant the opportunity to shine and highlights the diverse talents within our community in an unforgettable way!
